Title: Irma e Diña

Plot: one of the major characters in the history of the Soutomaior Castle, Pedro Madruga, will tell us about the stories and adventures that made him one of the most important figures of the 15th century in Galicia, always from a family-oriented and interactive perspective.

Paio Gomes, a loyal companion, will also participate in the performance and will recount Pedro’s adventures by playing his lute and singing stanzas to entertain the audience.

Moreover, he will tell the stories of other important figures that have been linked to the castle over the years, such as María Vinyals.

From another perspective, two other characters, Irma and Diña, will tell us about the history of the village, its customs, and how Galician women used to live in the 15th century. They will go on an exciting adventure together with Pedro and Paio searching for the truth and delving into the castle’s history.
All of them will explain the castle’s history from two different points of view, always in a dynamic, educational, interactive and family-oriented way, in order to show us how important women peasants used to be in the Middle Ages and how ignored they have been throughout history.
